About ADHD Master

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a common brain difference that affects how people focus, sit still, and control their behavior. It usually starts in childhood and often lasts into adulthood. People with ADHD are not lazy or badly behaved; their brains just process information differently.

ADHD symptoms fall into three main groups:

  • Inattention: Trouble focusing, losing items, and easily getting off track. Imagine trying to watch a movie while five other movies play on the same screen. It is hard to pick just one to watch.
  • Hyperactivity: A strong need to move around, fidget, or talk. It feels like having an engine running inside you that will not turn off.
  • Impulsivity: Doing or saying things without thinking about what might happen next.

Many people have a mix of these traits.
